Argonne National
Laboratory has recently received two grant awards related to the SonicLQ technology and will partner with SonicLQ on both. Argonne received at $275k from the Department of Energy for additional
Research and Development of the basic acoustic technology. SonicLQ will receive a $50k subcontract award from Argonne.
Argonne will also be
receiving an ESTCP program award of over $1M for demonstration and testing of SonicLQ on military bases in 2017 and 2018. Argonne will partner with Construction Engineering Research Laboratory
and SonicLQ. SonicLQ will receive subcontract awards of $125k and $100k in 2017 and 2018.
After a rigorous
selection process, SonicLQ is pleased to announce that we have been selected as a finalist to compete in the 6th annual Clean Energy Trust Challenge, the largest cleantech single-day pitch
competition in the nation. The Clean Energy Trust is an impact investor that fuels innovation and launches, funds, and grows early-stage clean energy startups in the Midwest. Out of
over sixty entries, we were chosen to compete against fifteen other cleantech startups on Tuesday, April 12 at the
full-day event in Chicago. As finalists, we will present our business plan to top cleantech industry investors and venture capitalists for a chance to win up to $1 million in funding – a record
amount for the Clean Energy Trust Challenge.
